My feelings are with you... even late. I lost this year a very good friend (for him is my salution at the end of "about me"... I know how it feels to lost someone who was close to you >HUGS<

Paleo...I'm sorry about your grandmother. I know it's rare that anything verbal or written can offer comfort but I hope that you feel the loss of her a little less every day. My mother used to tell me in my volatile teen years that time heals all. The last thing we want to give to grief is time, but I hope you will and I hope it helps.

if we believe we have souls, then we must also believe we "go somewhere" after we die...i just don't know where we "go"...guess we won't know until we die...

i lost my mother (a long time ago) and i thought the same thing about viewings and funerals; they suck...and it took a long time to deal with her death...missed her horribly (i still do, even after all these yrs)...there isn't a day that goes by that i don't think about her...i believe she is still with us, her spirit is inside of us...

i think of it kinda like this: she has become a part of my Higher Power, where ever/what ever this Higher Power may be she is now part of it...therefore, she is always with me because my Higher Power is with me all the time!

hope this makes some sense...a little hard expressing myself, but i wanted to share with you because i can understand your grief...

take care of yourself and hope you find some peace with all this
